Not sure how many of you caught it, but there was a new precedent tonight. A goal was scored and called back for incidental contact with the goalie. Gallant challenged it and got it overturned to the correct call. Never seen that before.

I've never seen a lazier player on the back check than Phil Kessel. He skates like an out of shape 45 year old man on the back check but is one of the fastest players in the NHL when he has the puck.

hmm i thought it was a goal right away, puck hits off gallaghers skate and goes in before there is any contact.
am i interpreting the rules wrong?

Based on where he was coming from he could have walked into locker room of the Edina Hawks and found them to be a more mature and professional group than his old team.
