I'm a bit behind the play, but I'll catch up in the intermission.

Arnold with another close one there. Gustafsson baubled that shot a little bit but did make the save.

Iowa plays a really, really boring game. Not that I should be shocked, it is Minnesota's baby team.

Hanowski with a shot and Wolf with the tip, but Gustafsson with the save.
Wild currently leading the shots 5-2 but nothing too dangerous.

Ferland and Agostino with a good chance, but the shot goes wide.
Ferland and Agostino look like a good pairing.

Thiessen with a nice wrap around save. Flames doing a good job of clearing guys out from in front of their net.

Well, I think I discovered the cure for insomnia. Watch an Iowa Wild game. This is slow, uneventful hockey. There's a couple good rushes and shots but the rest of it was just boring hockey.

Even the radio feed is yawn worthy, are they having tea parties in the neutral zone or something?

Huska Interview:
Iowa Wild - Realizes each team in this league is a good team. Cannot under estimate the team based on standings. Need to play their game.
No Morning Skate - Some players are creature of habit, but they should be okay. Did this before in Albany and they did well. Skated yesterday to work off bus leagues.
Turner Elson - Played really good in Penticton but was really quiet after that. Had a knee injury, came back and fired up again. Players that are playing with Elson are doing well and it's a credit to him.
Losing Potter - Potter played some big minutes but this is an opportunity for someone to step up into his role on the PP. Someone needs to use this opportunity to showcase themselves while he is gone.
Hanowski and the "A" - Hanner has the A because of him being vocal in the dressing room as well as the on ice play. He's become a leader in the room and the "A" represents how he's stepped up this season.
