Pizza Pizza is finally in Calgary. Open till 2am.
Never tried it until I had a slice in the Sunridge theatres. It was pretty tasty.
I hope they run a promo with the Flames where if they score 4 goals in a game, free pizza for everyone!!
Ugh it's in the NE though. Hope it doesn't do a Krispy Kreme. hehe
3709 26 Ave NE.
Two free slices on Saturday between 11am and 2pm.

I've had it in Ontairio a few times. It's ok pizza but you'll find much better places here in Calgary like Mannies, Zipps, Michaels, Toms etc.

Isn't Pizza Pizza and Little Caesars the same thing?

I thought Pizza Pizza owned Pizza 73 which at least is pretty strong here in Edmonchuk. Is this an attempt to consolidate market share or will there be some competition between the two.
Personally, I think the Best Buy/Futureshop co-existence has eroded Futureshops market tremendously or the last couple of years.

We've had a pizza pizza on the uofc campus for a couple years ... it's now a 73. Both garbage imo.

Brutal pizza. They used to have one downstairs in Lister hall where you could pay for it with your meal card and have it delivered to your room with no extra charge. I ate so much of it that year, even the sight of a box initiates my gag reflex.

Definitely not the best pizza out there. Even as far as large chains go, I would rate it pretty badly. Desperate at 3:00 am drunk it tastes pretty fantastic, but other than that no way I would ever order it.

I understand why people don't like the chains and sometimes I'm like that too. But most of the time I just want that basic greasy pepperoni pizza.
Pizza Pizza + Little Ceasers + Pizza 72 are all awesome IMO
But here in Banff it's a gong show. Best I can get is Dominos until Boston Pizza opens

Pizza Pizza sucks... I remember one time, we won some free coupons for like $5 off of any of their pizzas and we never bothered using it because it was that bad.

Same here. I had to avoid the stench of pizza pizza everywhere I went on campus.

Interesting... I had Pizza Pizza on a recent trip to DT Toronto (we got a free slices of pepperoni because the Blue Jays had 7 strikeouts ) and I thought it was actually pretty good. They reheated it when we ordered (I know that sounds bad when you read it) so that it was hot and crust was crispy when we sat down to eat. We liked it so much we ordered another slice (they had a great selection of choices).
I'll have to try the one in Calgary... hopefully it's the same set-up

Awful stuff. But man, putting a pizza joint outside a bar is nothing short of pure genius.
Whenever I go to the Castle Pub I end up eating Pizza from next door....

Hmmm I didn't find it that bad. But then i had been waiting at the theatre for 2 hours before the sneak preview for Dark Knight. It definitely stunk up the theatre.

One of the WORST things about being in Ontario is the proliferation of Pizza joints like Pizza McBarfa.
Calgary has so many great Pizza joints like Karouzos, Matadors, etc etc etc that Pizza McBarfa doesnt even register on the decent scale...putrid garbage.
Seriously...greasy floppy pizza aint decent.

Pizza Pizza is horrid, as are most of the chains.
Why on earth would anyone eat that stuff when we have Vern's, Nick's and Volos?

Is Zipps pizza still open? Man, I love that place. I thought that closed down with the rest of Pied Pickle on 6th ave and 5th street.
