Question PC video question

Hey CP I got a question for ya.

I just got a new motherboard for a PC. I am wondering what is better; using the on-board video or an older video card I have. I'm not gonna be playing any new top end PC games, mostly EA games when I do.

Asus M3A78-EM - ATi - HD 3200 256MB LINK
or
ATi Radeon X850 XT 256MB LINK

I think the Radeon is better but as it's a couple (4?) years old so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks,
HD

Pretty safe to say that any dedicated card is better than onboard performance. Try the game with the onboard graphics and then with the card installed. If the older vid card is no good, just uninstall and chuck it.

You could even buy a newer card for under $100 that woudl out perform the onboard video.
