Another amazing first period to give the Flames a big cushion. Flames let their foot off the gas, but good to hold it down. Rittich played well! Good to get some depth scoring!

I hate to be such a fanboy but god damn it Bill Peters is good. His in-game management and adjustment is like Joel Quennville, except I actually prefer his PK system. Not to jump the gun or anything but I really can't wait to see him coach his first NHL Playoff series. He's like a version of Bob Hartley that doesn't hate having the puck. Also full credit to Ryan Huska, he has the D-men playing with great details.

And what can I say about our new second line? Even ignoring the "pest" aspect of Tkachuk/Bennett, I feel like I'm watching that old Saad-Toews-Hossa line from the 2013-2015 Blackhawks when these three are out there. High praise but it's exciting! The 2013

Sloppy, sloppy game. If the flames play like that vs the Jets next time, they’ll get creamed.

That being said, I like the bottom six scoring, and Rittich was terrific. Again.

Take the two points and focus on Vegas.

So the Flames can come from behind, or get an early lead and hold on?

I like it!

If that stupid Sid rant applied to any team in the league, it's the Flames. No one takes them seriously until it's too late, and then they fall to bits when teams start paying attention to them.
