I was about 10 seconds from going all True Detective on my wall trying to figure out your statement.. then I remembered there was a All Star draft today. Guessing it has something to do with that.

A little more insightful than stuff you would typically read in a regular newspaper

Same. I saw the op and scrolled all down the forum for the trade thread.

He makes some good points. In hindsight I was a total idiot at age 19. But being shacked up on a team full of married men when you're still a single kid trying to live it up? Yeah, you're gonna go out and do your thing. You're gonna be a bit of an outcast. While he does give off a slight d#####y vibe, you can't really fully judge the guy based on media reports.
But hey..hell of a hockey player, that's for sure.

I wonder if he had some editorial help. Well written and I'm a bit surprised. I like Seguin a lot more after the read.
Would have been an awesome snatch for the Flames.

I'm sure he had some help, but his article is SO much better than Sean Avery's, and he points out that he received help from a professional writing friend. I get the impression that Sequin is pretty sharp.

My thoughts exactly. I still like the Hall pick but wish the Oilers would have outbid Dallas for him.
