Tampa Bay Lightning: How will Hurricane Milton impact the Amalie Arena?
It looks sadly like the Tampa Bay area is going to be hit very hard by the hurricane that is looking extremely destructive. If it's as bad as predictions state there is a good chance their arena is it the very least going to be put out of action for some time. Where do people think the team will relocate to.

Hopefully the storm will weaken more than it's projected to.
There are ECHL arenas in Jacksonville and Savannah if the arena sustains serious damage.

They can go to Arizona and play a brand new high school rink.

Depending on how far inland the damage is, if they do need to relocate for a while, Orlando would probably be the first choice. Their ECHL affiliate is already there.
Otherwise, for travel/scheduling reasons, they would likely want to keep them in the southeast somewhere. Maybe Houston.

I know they play Carolina back to back Friday Saturday. I wonder if they can just play both games there and switch/flip one of Carolina's future home game to an away. That would at least give them till Tuesday. Unfortunately some western teams are scheduled to make that trip to Florida next week (Vegas and Vancouver), which may make it a little bit harder to arrange a make up game with those teams, because now you are asking them to travel east again.

I remember Rita from several years ago was a major Cat 5 while it was in the Gulf but weakened after it reached that intensity. Hopefully this one follows the same trend. Still going to be awful.

Yeah, if this 15-20 foot storm surge prediction is accurate the whole town will be a flooded mess.

Wasn't Houston's Toyota Center's icemaking plant decommissioned?
Kansas City may be an option.

The optics of Tampa playing against the Hurricanes is unfortunate.

I doubt Fertitta would be interested in hosting the Lightning.

I would say Quebec just to keep the alignment clean.
