Default HELP! XBOX 360 Transfer Cable

Hey folks!

I am upgrading from an XBOX 360 Pro to Elite and I need a data transfer cable and kit to move the information from the my Pro to the new Elite.

If anyone on here has one that I can borrow, that would be completely awesome. Since it can only be used once I thought someone on here might have one lying around.

Otherwise I have to order one (free thankfully) from Microsoft but who knows how long that will take to get here...

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Can anyone help me with this?

I am willing to pay a little something for your trouble... or even buy the data transfer kit from you.

Please PM me if you can help.

Is it possible to hook them both up to a network and do the transfer that way? Or is this data transfer kit required?

Unfortunately it is required. It seems as though there may not be anyone here with a kit laying around so I am going to buy the Elite this afternoon so I can send away for it. I am going to fax the request so maybe it might get here faster. I was supposed to deliver my 360 Pro to the person I sold it to on Thursday... don't know if that will be possible.

Still, if anyone comes upon this thread and has one of these kits laying around I would be very grateful if you would be so kind as to let me borrow it or buy it.

i had the same probably as you. I ended up buying a memory card and transfering via that. For DLC i just redownloaded them. Good alternative if you don't have too many large files to transfer.

Do you need to use the Xbox memory card or will a Flash drive work?

I realize it's Microsoft and the obvious answer is no, but I would be curious.
