This was one unconvincing win. Almost blew that one.

True enough, but after first 2 games I don't think anyone might have predicted a split. Baltimore is a great ball club.
Anyway, credit where it's due

Yeah that was a pleasant surprise to even the series up.

But holy hell Baltimore is going to be brutal to the Jays going forward. They were completely lifeless today and looked like it was going to be a blowout. But a couple swings of the bat and next thing you know it's a one run game.

Baltimore is going to be brutal to all of the AL east.
Very young team with more coming. They have 9 of the top 100 prospects in MLB (according to some publication). Some are worth the big club now but not all. They will be really good for a long time to come, probably.

We will see how they manage it all, This year they have the Yankees to deal with.

If the new owner gets a bit impatient and starts unloading some prospects to load up on on SP or the bullpen or a big bat over these next couple seasons, those talent reserves in the minors disappear quickly.

Sounds like a solid win, timely hitting and Kikuchi lights out. Now 2 out of 3 from the Brewers.

Good to see Turner getting going again. If Vogel stays hot, and we get the April version of Turner then Vladdy at 3B makes a lot of sense. Two good games in a row for Turner - hopefully June is a good month.

That's pretty surprising that they couldn't get value for him somehow. LHB, who for some period seemed to have some potential. Pretty surprised there wasn't a taker.

My brother is a big A's fan and down in Oakland to watch the A's at home one last time as they play the Jays this weekend. Watching for him on tonight's broadcast. Not sure about watching the weekend games.

Manoah done for season.

Took long enough for them to move on ftom Biggio.

Will never know but after a great rookie year, COVID and all the complications around things then really stunted his prime MLB development years.

As a result never really took any step forward.
His rookie season and lineage likely kept him around longer than most with the stats lines he has been posting.

Weird that they DFA’d Biggio instead of Vogelbach.

29 and counting. 3 games from the MLB record.

Siddal wants nothing to do with chatting about that and suddenly and randomly makes some bizarre comment about Kirk's bat being valuable.

Do you blame him? I’ve a depressing stat.
