I understand what you're saying. Sexual orientation shouldn't matter when it comes to politics. I myself would have voted Nenshi regardless of whether or not he is gay. So all the bigoted old whities in this town managed to get over the fact that he's brown, and the fact that he's muslim, but the gay thing would have been too much? I don't buy it.
