Nobody is advocating that dogs be able to frequent Ranchman's on their own. They will be there under the direction of a human.

And by the way, your statement also holds true for most humans also.

My point is that you inferred that dogs where the driving force in those activities, as if the dog dropped out, opened it's eyes and decided it wanted to be a seeing eye dog (or whatever the current term is). Fact is it was a human, that decided that dog would do that job.

If left to their own devices dogs would run wild in packs.
