It is a northern thing, and I gotta say I like it.
Last time I was up in Yorkshire, I was pissed off to find that my favorite chippy in Huddersfield is now a Paddy Power Bookmaker. The town center is now full of crappy burger, pizza and kebab joints. Which is pretty much the situation in a lot of places now.
