I absolutely see no reason, need, or likelihood of moving Canadian Thanksgiving. All black friday is is another "retail holiday". No different than Montana or other border states cashing in on Canadian Family Day by having blowout sales then.
I'm surprised retailers haven't created a new "holiday" for the lull between shopping in shoulder seasons. I'd imagine something like a Black Friday in June would spike sales more than this at the start of an already busy shopping season. |
