Having said that, using voice recognition on Kinect/Xbox One or using the above remote control to change channels is never used in my house because it is easier to punch 3 channel numbers on the remote, or to one touch a guide and then scroll through either the pvr or live broadcasts...and then enter to watch.
I don't see the advantage of voice control to change channels.

Who is everyone? My experience with voice recognition is that there is almost no way it could possibly be faster than manual entry. Not when you take into account the "go back and correct mistakes" factor.
Or when it gives you results that you weren't looking for because it completely misheard you.
