Alright Mario Kart players -- time to show your skills. It's the CP Time Trial Challenge -- each week (for as long as interest persists, or we get through them all), we'll pick a new course to compete in.

There will be two titles up for grabs - Best Race (overall time) and Hot Lap (best single lap).

A few rules:

1. You can submit as many times as you want during the week.
2. Your best race and hot lap times do not necessarily need to come from the same run.
3. Runs must be completed in Mario Kart 8's designated time trial mode in 150cc only. No 200cc.
4. Times are to be submitted via screenshot -- just capture an image (or take a picture with your phone) and upload to Imgur (or your preferred host), then post here.
5. No restrictions on characters or karts or wheels -- whatever you think is the best combo for hitting those high times, it's fair game.

For week 1 we'll keep it simple: the first course of the game, Mushroom Cup's Mario Kart Stadium. We'll accept up times til midnight Friday night! Good luck everyone!
