All I'm saying is that as a United fan having lived through the disappointments that were Moyes and van Gaal I see a similar pattern with Klopp. High expectations but a failure to deliver.
And you could make the same argument for both of them in that they were given a real shot at succeeding when the obvious gut feeling and the smart thing (in hindsight) was to cut them both loose much earlier when the signs were there that they were lacking in some sense of a solid plan. United lost a year because they gave van Gaal a real chance.
What I was most concerned about when Klopp arrived was that he had the inside scoop on all the bargains and young up and coming talent in the bundesliga. So far so good.
