If it wasn't for injuries, he wouldn't have had the 4th most minutes.
You moved the goalposts.
But in any event, you are basically correct that sometimes awful players play roles they shouldn't be. My statement should have been "any sensible team looking to contend will want a better d-man taking top 4 minutes".
