Honestly, as long as the blade spins true and doesn't wobble (which is a bigger deal than the blade being used) it's not terribly laughable. The Ryobi stuff is just weaker motor-wise, more prone to breaking, and has less fitment features (eg moulding brackets) but usually do the job correctly. Probably a bigger pain in the ass to swap the blades as well.
