I expect to get roasted for this, but Dominos is my favourite of the something-like-pizza chains. Pepperoni and Italian sausage with a side of cheese bread, two or three times a year. For some reason medium tastes better. My ex-fiance thought I was crazy for thinking that, but Dominos' large pizza just tastes different, sort of like how ripple potato chips taste different than non-ripple ones, even if they're the same flavour.
As an aside, I think a good pizza has to do with the pepperoni. Some joints use thick ham-like pepperoni, and bury it under the cheese where it doesn't crisp up nicely. Vern's is great for piling on thinly-sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese and crisping it to perfection.
Not a fan of thick crusts, deep dish, chicago style, greek style, etc. pizzas. Hate them, actually.
