Well he's right if we're sticking with the CF-18 or buying second echelon fighters like the Super Hornet, at that point then we might as well buy another fleet of a 100 or so Super Hornets.
I frankly will take the word of the head of the Airforce who knows the capabilities and requirements of the airforce over the CDS, especially this CDS, who was a special forces operator.
If people are going to listen to this CDS then they should have certainly listened to the last CDS who was an airforce general and pushed hard for the F-35 as the only logical replacement for the F-18s.
