I was reading Coyote fan comments and one of their biggest gripes about Mike Smith has been his inconsistency since 2013.
Before last season, they felt that his contract was unmovable and they were resigned to having him remain on the team until the contract's conclusion.
So while he played well last season, most fans were happy to see him go.
