I was getting concerned about the FPV solutions for the P2 as they seem fairly complicated and cumbersome. The whole 7" screen strapped to the controller plus the video transmitter/receiver feels like a lot more things that can go wrong. I also can't think of a practical reason why I would need 60 fps. I know doing some slo-mo effects could be cool, but like you said, 720p is probably good enough for an amateur.
Is the controller that comes with the DJI's good enough, or should I consider getting a Spektrum receiver for my DX7?
