The 4K TVs remind me of when 1080p TVs first came out. Some of them wouldn't accept 1080p. This is happening with 4K TVs as well. At least most of them won't accept 4K @60hz 4.4.4. which is required for full 4K. Many of them will do it at 30hz or 60hz 4.2.0 (Sony) which is crappy if you are using a computer signal but 30hz is okay for movies. Most of the LGs will do a full 4K. The Panasonic's will do it as well with a DP connection but this isn't the HDCP 2.2. Some Samsungs work properly but it looks like it's a gamble on what parts you happen to get. Samsung is also offering an add-on that can be purchased to upgrade their 4K TVs as newer chips come out. Mostly as cupofjoe says it will be a good idea to wait until 2016 or at least do your research.
