My initial offer was Tuch, meloche and a 2nd. But turd insisted on Comrie. I didn't want to trade him, but I have no leverage. I scoured the top 35 goalies list and Lehner and Halak were pretty much the only options to make a deal for.

Almost all teams have one top 30 goalie and a nothing backup. Turd was the only one with two guys in the top 15. Halak was available but I didn't want to pay too much for him. Rinne in Pittsburgh is a maybe but he would be a 9M x 3 Grid and would have wiped out all cap flexibility for me this season

I pretty much had to send Comrie to make it happen. So I did it with a downgraded pick

If I couldn't land a top 30 goalie I would have pretty much been forced to rebuild this year.
