So I decided to check out the site again after a few months since they redesigned it, and wow I wasn't aware that they were still raking in the funding. They're over 12 million dollars raised now through public funding, that makes it the highest grossing crowd funding project of all time

With the last goal they have enough to build a professional sound studio and to enable Oculus Rift support. And they've recently released an new ship trailer that was made completely from in-game footage, no cinematics or pre-rendering

As much as I want to upgrade my PC now, I think I'm going to hold off until closer to release. Maybe when the Geforce 800 series comes out
