Just drove around with the Hawkeye cam I picked up this weekend. Video quality it pretty damn good for under $100. Can make out licence plates at night time. Shouldn't have wasted my money on that piece of crap deal extreme camera.
I was able to run the power cable from the headliner, down the A-pillar and under the steering column to my power adapter with some slack.
