I am actually pulling for Ramo to find work. Sure, he was a tire fire for some stretches, but he got sent down to the AHL, accepted his demotion well, worked hard and took to heart what Sigalet suggested he improve on. He came back and gave the Flames competent goaltending until his unfortunate injury. I think he was a class act. Hiller didn't seem to have that. Ortio refused to accept a conditioning stint in the AHL. Ramo? He gave it his all for this team, and for that alone I wish him the best.
I still feel he is a competent backup. I am also eager to find out if other teams are interested in him, and I hope he really finds a spot in the NHL again this season as other teams experience some injury issues.
