Cant find a schematic to determine the part no of the failed component. Plus I dont have the equipment for wave soldering. (This thing is pretty small) so swapping the entire board will probably be the only option.

Are you able to identify whether that part was in smaller monitors of the same or other brands and keep an eye out for something cheap enough to scavenge for parts?
