Price/performance for large core counts does seem to be on AMD's side, but what do they mean by "taking advantage"? GPU is a much bigger influence isn't it?
I'd be leery of either dropping a huge wad on an i9 or buying into AMD based on D2 performance without seeing some hard benchmarks.
