The crowd lined up along the barriers for the inaugural parade cheered its loudest cheer of the day, of course, when the announcer said President Trump was passing. Most could not see him through the closed windows of the limo but kept waving anyway.

They also cheered for conservative Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, and very loudly booed all four of the most powerful women in the United States: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) got less enthusiastic boos.
