Mine were 5 and 3 and they both picked it up really quick. The 5-year old can play games like Mario Odyssey and Kirby Forgotten Land by herself, and she's getting quite good. The 3-year old loves playing as the hat in Odyssey, and we do a lot of 3 player coop in Mario 3D world and Rayman Legends
