It has been fun playing the beta with my club mates, the absolute best has been both 3 vs 3 modes which surprised me by how much fun they really are. Although my club mainly plays 4's to 6's so I'm not sure how much I'll play those modes online. Other then the expected roster update and the AI being a lot better in EASHL, there wasn't any change to the actual game play which I suppose isn't a bad thing because it was good in 17 but I feel its only human nature to then question the purchase of the game itself if this is all we're getting. I've already pre-ordered NHL 18 so it is what it is for me but it could be a valid point for someone else.
