It wasn’t a bad pick in any way, looking back now.

That draft is brutal, the Flames actually took a homerun swing, and picked a guy who will likely have a decent NHL career.

Decent NHL player is mid first round coming out of that draft.

It would have been a great pick if the guy had ever found any mojo to go along with his talent.
