Pretty good result for DeLaet.
This is already his best year since 2013 and 2014, when he was President's Cup material. he's already surpassed both 2015 and 2016 in earnings this year, even before factoring in today's top 10 in a major. This should bode well heading into the Fed Ex playoffs.
Also helps that he entered the clubhouse in 9th spot, but both Stroud (42 on the back 9) and Kisner (double bogey on 18) struggled down the stretch and now DeLaet finishes T-7! I wonder how much extra money that's worth...
He'll have to play his way into the Masters. Had he finished 2 strokes higher he'd have qualified based on his finish at a major. (Top 4 get entries)
