That's Hockey panel compared it to Rolston in the pre-season, and that was a $10k fine, so that seems a more likely result.
Of course, that ignores the difference in context. Rolston sent his goon out right after things got ugly. Hartley sent his out at the start of a game. But the context becomes irrelevant when talking heads start making the comparisons. The league has to send a token message about the brawling, and that is why Hartley will get fined.
But it will have been worth it.
