From the sounds of the AMerican Politics thread, it sounds like I made a grave mistake not putting a bunker under my pad. 3/8" chip board offers reasonable protection from a nuclear blast, right?
I do have a ~100 lb fire rated entry door salvaged from a bank though, so at least one piece should survive.
