This is a picture of the Sagittarius Star Cloud - taken on the long weekend in August. I think this was about a ten-second exposure using a 35mm lens wide open at f2.4. ISO=1600. These aren't great by any stretch of the imagination, but they are way better than some of my previous efforts.
I don't have any means right now for tracking so that is my next step. I've never been much for post-processing, but it is definitely a required skill-set for astrophotography and it is something I need to work on. I follow the advice of Roger Clark at Clarkvision.
