OK, hoping to get some CP help here, after a night of Googling.
I took my SDHC card out of my camera (Panasonic Lumix) and put it in my card reader. When I did, Win7 told me that I needed to format the card. I put it back in the camera and got an error message that it can't be read.
To make a long story short, according to chkdsk, the card is in raw format (not RAW as in photo) and thus cannot be read.
So, my question is, does anyone know a way to recover the photos on there? I found some software products, but most are paid, and free ones like PhotoRec and Zero Assumption find nothing on my card.
My gut says that it basically needs to have some type of formatting on it, but I don't want to reformat it in case of losing the pictures.
