Me and my wife have tried a few 2 player games recently.
Patchwork is simple, great and she loves it.
Rivals of Catan - a bit nerdy for her but she still enjoys it. About the max nerd level she can accept (along with M44)
7 Wonders Duel - she liked but will require more plays to figure it out
Kahuna, easy game, takes time to get good at. Good quick game.
Lost Cities - just purchased, will try to get that out over the summer.
