This is really sad news. ATCQ were the group that got me into hip hop. RIP Funky Diabetic.

They were highly influential for their ability to appeal across genres. They were often one of a few hip hop groups that you would see at festivals more geared towards rock music fans. It's more common today than it was back in the 1990s, partly because of them.
