Not true. I won the laser lottery once!
I caught some scatter while coming back into the city after we were driving back from Moab in one shot, and definitely nowhere near abiding the speed limits.
I think the odds of that are seriously low, and you are correct, every other time has been after the officer is already reading my speed off his gun.
