Either way, I like it. Definitely not surprising in tone, quality, or intended audience if you've ever seen a CW show before. Not a lot different in quality than shows like Supernatural or Arrow.

I watched the first episode of Riverdale and it wasn't what I expected. Didn't really enjoy it but might be worth the watch if it actually ends up like this fan theory, that by the end of the season it will be the start of the Afterlife with Archie comic series.
