He said they might leave Ferland exposed and protect Brouwer because:
1. The Flames would want to avoid hurt feelings from Brouwer if exposed and not taken
2. It would be a favor to Vegas leaving them Ferland to take in order to get something in return (like trading them Stajan for a goalie, as an example)
