One would think a GM may be interested in a 5 year 37.5 million dollar offer sheet for Draisaitl. That would cost a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd, which is not much for a guy like Draisaitl. In the last year of the contract, if he continues to be a 70+ point player, you can probably recoup the 1st and 2nd on a deadline deal if you want, in which case it would cost you a 3rd round pick to grab Leon for the previous 4 and a half years, plus cap space (whatever value you put on slightly over paying him). Not sure why a team would not consider that type of contract.
