Looking for advice here on getting a basic home office set up. I've used my work computer, printer, systems, etc for everything personal over the last 15 years but the time has come to move on.

I don't think I need anything fancy beyond office products, cloud storage, email, etc. Something I can use for personal needs, future home-based work, kid's homework, etc.

Last time I did this was like 15 years ago when I built my own computer, installed my own software, etc. But I'm sure things have changed very much to subscription models, less user friendly Windows operating systems, etc.

I'm thinking laptop, monitors, printers, cloud storage, and PC/windows based products. No gaming or serious computing power needed.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to reasonably tackle this...what to buy and where? Definitely cost conscious.

Thanks.
