I have never been to COP. I can't imagine how it could possibly be any fun unless you're into park / pipe.

A real problem I've been having the last couple of seasons is how expensive accommodation has become in Banff and Lake Louise, though. It sucks that it's so pricey to stay the night. Totally not worth $300 for a crappy hotel room.

Mountaineer Lodge mid season is like $120 bucks for a room. Nothing remarkable about it one way or the other, perfectly serviceable.
