I don't think there will be many who will be surprised by this, myself included. However, better performances from both Johnson and Elliott hardly constitute proof that Sigalet was the problem in Calgary all along.

I will continue to refrain from criticism until I see some actual evidence to demonstrate Sigalet's contribution to these results one way or the other. Conceding that
I don't know seems like a perfectly rational response to the question of how he has performed in his job, and while it may look to some as a tacit endorsement I would like to repeat that refusing to vilify Sigalet is not the same thing as defending him.
