Thanks for the advice folks.
Interestingly I was researching MRI costs in Canada and abroad and I came across private clinics in Germany and Norway that charge roughly 250 pounds for a basic MRI scan. But that cost also covers airfare (From the UK), pickup from the airport and one nights accomadation should you need it.
