As far as I can tell, Zoomer is either owned or partnered with Cityfone and Cityfone is owned by Rogers.
I've only been with Zoomer since December but my time with them has been excellent. You get national coverage without having to deal with Rogers.
When I signed up, I picked the Huawei GR5 phone and sold it and just popped the sim card into my new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. My wife got the GR5 and she loves it (her first smartphone). I think the best phone to choose from this time is the LG G4.
