I can also tell you that i learned a fun lesson today regarding mortar powder.
I was filling up a bucket to mix up some tile mud and as I was pouring the powder half the bag contents slumped out at once and and air pocket got trapped resulting in an explosion of dry powder that shot up and hit me in the left eye as it was wide open. That sucked!
I rinsed my eye for about an hour then decided to hit the emergency room to get my eye flushed. I am the proud new owner of a scratched eyeball, poor depth perception and perpetual look of giving someone the stink eye!
Lesson today - wear the glasses when filling up buckets now too!
